This one-day event organized by Julie Stanescu via Rethink focused on some of the challenges and opportunities of working with designs systems. The designers from big name orgs were kind enough to share not just the successes but also their struggles, something you don’t often hear about in most design talks today.

For the sketchnotes I primarily used the Pilot Precise v5 since my favorite Pentel EnerGel 0.5mm died, a few Copic markers for emphasis and a little bit of Prismacolor pencils for a few talks. Final images were taken on iPhone with minor adjustments in Photoshop for brightness.
